As the countdown to the Humor & Harmony Festival begins, hip-hop icons 50 Cent and Busta Rhymes have taken their banter to Instagram in a hilarious exchange.

On June 16, 2024, the two hip-hop titans engaged in a playful exchange, humorously mocking each other with whimsically dressed photos shared on Instagram. 50 Cent started the friendly joshing, which prompted Busta to respond with a picture of 50, captioning:

“I THOUGH IT WAS FATHER’S DAY @50cent and YOU OUT HERE LOOKING LIKE THIS!!”

The lighthearted banter between these heavyweights of hip-hop followed 50 Cent’s announcement of the inaugural comedy and music festival, Humor & Harmony, set to take place in Shreveport, Louisiana, this August.

50 Cent and Busta Rhymes trade playful jabs amid Humor & Harmony Festival noise

Over the weekend, Busta Rhymes and 50 Cent exchanged witty remarks in a series of Instagram posts. The rapper shared an old picture of Busta from the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. In the picture, Busta can be seen wearing a light yellow halter neckline top paired with sunglasses and accessorizing it with a watch, rings, earrings, and a heavy chain on the neck.

50 Cent wrote on the picture, suggesting, “Busta cannot wear this outfit to Humor Harmony.” He also captioned the post, stating that regardless of who made the outfit, Busta must wear something stylish for the Humor & Harmony Festival.

“@bustarhymes I don’t care who made the outfit, Bro you gotta come with some fly sh!t to Shreveport. LOL 😆 Happy Father’s Day,” 50 captioned.

Busta Rhymes took the remarks in jest and referred to 50 Cent as “King” in the comment section of his post, wishing him a Happy Father’s Day, which fell on June 16, 2024.

“🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You Crazy as Hell family!! Happy Father’s Day King!!😂😂😂😂😂,” Buster wrote.

Shortly after that, Busta Rhymes responded to 50 Cent lightheartedly. He shared a picture of 50 sporting a feathered short bob cut, accessorized with a pendant that gave him a mom-like look, paired with a white tank top and grayish shrug.

In the caption, Buster teased 50, suggesting that he might be putting in a lot of effort to prepare his look for an event in Shreveport.

“I KEEP TELLING Y’ALL THE BLESSINGS DON’T STOP SO WE AIN’T NEVERRRRRRRR GONNA STOP!! DON’T LET ME FIND OUT THIS HOW YOU BE IN THE MIRROR PREPARING YOUR LOOK FOR SHREVEPORT!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” Buster concluded.

50 Cent didn’t hold back at all in joking around as he commented under the post suggesting that Buster needs to control and referring to his “Big Chains” from 50’s Final Lap Tour 2023.

“LMAO 😆😆😆 yo you outta control, and your chains to BIG!” 50 wrote.

The chain that 50 referred to in his comment was Buster’s 54mm gold and diamond-encrusted Cuban chain. Previously, on August 17, 2023, he shared a behind the scenes on his Instagram where he playfully jabbed at Buster’s chain saying:

“Look at this, tell him his chain is too big. Tell that [expletive] his chain is too big. He ain’t got no friends, they are not telling him.”

Their friendly banter not only entertains viewers but also showcases the humor that will be witnessed at the Humor & Harmony Festival 2024.
