Seems like Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa‘s “I keep receipt” statement directed toward his critics and haters didn’t sit well with Shannon Sharpe‘s views. Considering the quarterback’s inconsistent performance throughout this season, forced the Pro Football Hall of Famer to firmly assert his disappointment on the National Television.

In Sharpe’s opinion, the driving force for Dolphins success is wide receiver Tyreek Hill. And because of him only, QB Tagovailoa has been this good. During his recent appearance on First Take, Sharpe voiced his displeasure over Tagovailoa’s statement, after giving an efficient performance against the New York Jets in week 15.

Sharpe asserted Dolphins’ QB isn’t as brilliant as Hall of Famer Dan Marino or Kansas City Chiefs’ star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and he most certainly shouldn’t be perceived that way.

Stop this notion that he (Tua Tagovailoa)’s Dan Marino, stop this notion that he’s Patrick Mahomes!

Interestingly, sports analyst Dan Orlovsky had a different take on that. Though he acknowledged that Tagovailoa cannot be compared to the legend Marino, that doesn’t mean his career graph has any resemblance to that of Orlovsky himself.

He’s not talking like he’s Dan Marino, but we talk about Tua like he’s me.

Orlovsky’s NFL career began in 2005 when he was drafted by the Detroit Lions as the 145th overall draft pick. After spending three seasons with them, the quarterback shifted to the Houston Texans, then to the Indianapolis Colts, and then to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Orlovsky returned to the Lions in 2014 as a primary quarterback to Matthew Stafford. He eventually retired in 2017 after a 12-year-long career with 3,132 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions.

Tua Tagovailoa charged up to the face Cowboys next week

As week 16 approaches, the Dolphins have one of the most anticipated matchups against the Dallas Cowboys. And for this mega matchup, there’s one person particularly very excited about, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

After a fierce game against the Jets last week, when the Dolphins destroyed the opponents at 30-0, Tagovailoa is all charged up to bring the Cowboys their second consecutive loss, especially now that receiver Hill is also likely to play.

But that isn’t the only reason for Tagovailoa’s sheer excitement. During a press conference, the QB revealed the Cowboys used to be his favorite team, as well as of his family. But now, things have changed and they all have become Miami fans.
