Over the weekend, Miami was the scene of a roast featuring none other than 50 Cent taking jabs at his long-time rival, Diddy.
The event, held at The Dead Flamingo Pop-Up inside Casa Tiki, aimed to raise money for victims of domestic violence.
The Diddy roast, which took place on June 8, saw local comedians Brittney Brave and Danny B hosting the show.
Surprisingly, 50 Cent made an appearance, confirmed by his Instagram post where he shared a Miami Herald article about the event.
“Yes, I was in attendance. I thought puffy might show up because I saw Tom Brady at his,” he wrote.
“He didn’t come, I had the shooters get your mind out gutter videographers what!”
The post was later deleted and replaced with another, stating, “This was some cool s**t to see in person, and the proceeds went to victims of 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual assault.”
The evening was filled with jokes about the accusations against Diddy, including 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual assault and violence.
Despite the humor, the event had a serious underlying purpose: to support the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
The roast, though controversial for its content, was part of a fundraiser to aid those affected by domestic violence.
50 Cent is also working on a Diddy documentary, tentatively titled “Diddy Do It?”, which was sold to Netflix in May.
The proceeds from this project will reportedly benefit 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual assault victims.
Since last November, when Diddy’s former girlfriend Cassie filed a lawsuit accusing him of rape, physical abuse, and other disturbing acts, 50 Cent has been vocal on social media about the allegations against Diddy.
This roast marks another chapter in the long-standing feud between 50 Cent and Diddy, which dates back to 2006.
With seven lawsuits currently filed against Diddy, including Cassie’s settled case, the documentary aims to shed light on the numerous accusations of rape, 𝓈ℯ𝓍ual assault, violence, and unpaid wages against the hip-hop mogul.
