Dak Prescott had two major interceptions in the game against the Packers.

“Add me to the list!” Dak Prescott admits even his spot as Cowboys QB is under threat if HC Mike McCarthy is being put on the hot seat following Packers playoff loss

The Green Bay Packers beating the Dallas Cowboys at their home, AT&T Stadium, might be the biggest upset of this postseason. No one expected the result ahead of the game as they picked the Cowboys as the clear favorite against the Packers.

Following the loss, multiple Cowboys players were subjected to obvious criticism. It started with Mike McCarthy, the head coach of the team.

The Cowboys’ fans wanted an immediate departure of the veteran following his poor play calls and abysmal records in big games. In the regular season too, McCarthy was subjected to heavy criticism ample times.

Nonetheless, QB Dak Prescott thinks differently. He believes that the veteran had done a good job throughout the season. The Cowboys earned success in the league because of him. Addressing the issue to the press, Prescott noted,

He's been amazing. I don't know how there can be [questions about his status], but I understand the business.

However, the team’s owner, Jerry Jones, preferred to remain silent regarding the entire coaching fiasco. He did not utter a single word regarding the situation. There are speculations that the Cowboys could go for Bill Belichick, the NFL’s most successful coach in terms of statistics. Nonetheless, the 80-year-old billionaire has not cleared the air of what he is thinking. Things will become clear once the season gets over.

Prescott knows that even his position is under threat

Despite getting knocked out at the playoffs, no one can deny Dak Prescott had one of the finest seasons in his eight-year-long NFL career. He registered 36 touchdowns against nine interceptions in the regular season. The quarterback thanked the head coach for the amazing season. He said that it was McCarthy who helped him to achieve that.

In that case then there should be about me, as well, honestly. I mean, that guy -- I've had the season I've had because of him. This team has had the success that they've had because of him.

The signal caller also revealed that if McCarthy has to go then his position in the team is also not safe. Prescott could lose his job as well if the team sacks Super Bowl-winning coach.

And I understand it's about winning the Super Bowl, and that's the standard of the league and damn sure the standard of this place. I get it. But add me to the list in that case.

Despite providing efforts, Prescott once again failed to clinch a playoff win for the Cowboys. His two interceptions became crucial to deciding the fortune of the game.
