Benzino says he could beat 50 Cent in a fight.
Benzino Says He Would Win in a Fight Against 50 Cent
Benzino made another appearance on the popular We in Miami podcast, which premiered on Wednesday (April 24) on their YouTube channel. During their convo, host Slim Stunna asked Benzino who he would love to box the most between Eminem, 50 Cent or Joe Budden. Instantly, ‘Zino said he would love to box Em because it would be a handsome payday for the both of them if it actually happened.
When asked about his chances with 50 Cent in the boxing ring, Benzino bragged that he could beat up the New York rhymer in the fight arena. The former rapper-turned-reality star believes that since Fif suffered facial injuries from his 2000 shooting incident, where he was shot nine times, that would make him susceptible to getting punched in the face.
“Yeah, I think like in a boxing match, like if we [were] to box in a couple of months and I train, hell yeah I box 50, hell yeah,” he said at the six-minute mark in the video below.
Benzino added that he could beat up 50 Cent in a street fight as well.
Benzino Challenges Eminem to Face-to-Face Rap Battle
Benzino may not get Eminem in the boxing ring, but he’s still challenging the Detroit rhymer to a lyrical battle on the microphone.
On April 14, Benzino talked with TMZ about his rap nemesis and their ongoing feud. The Boston native feels that after releasing his diss song “Rap Elvis,” he’s confident that he can go bar-for-bar with Em.
“At this point, after ‘Rap Elvis,’ I think I can face-to-face battle with him,” ‘Zino said in the video below. “I’m willing to do so. I’m willing to challenge him right here on TMZ. Face-to-face battle, three rounds. I believe I can take him.”
“Now, when we was battling, I probably wouldn’t have said that 20 years from now,” he continues. “But, since then, I’ve mastered my craft and I’m in the best lyrical shape of my life. I’m ready to battle Eminem. And I think that will be great for hip-hop.”

Meet Tiallondra “Tia” Kemp, Rick Ross’s son’s mother who will be coming out with a book called Tia’s Diary : Deeper than Rap, telling her struggles as a single mother being involved with a rapper whose real life behavior does not quite live up to his image

50 Cent Taunts Rick Ross With the Mother of Ross’ SonThings first became contentious between 50 Cent and Rick Ross amid 50’s beef with Fat Joe back in 2008. In March of that year, Fif praised Rozay for the success of the Miami rhymer’s Trilla album during an interview with MTV. However, 50 Cent followed the compliment by warning Ross to distance himself from the Terror Squad boss. Rick Ross took exception to 50’s suggestion and responded with a few diss lines on the 2009 track “Mafia Music,” on which Ross called out 50 Cent’s then-public spat with the mother of his son. Being that 50 is a master at hip-hop warfare, he took the 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 mama drama to the extreme one month later by introducing the world to Tia Kemp, the mother of Ross’ son, just as she was planning to publish a tell-all memoir slamming her former lover. In a series of videos shared on ThisIs50.com in 2009, the two taunted Rick Ross in various ways that included claims of Rick Ross flaunting fake riches, a lavish shopping spree in New York City and even a trip to Las Vegas with Ross’ son to visit boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s mansion. 50 Cent’s brazen link-up with the mother of Rick Ross’ son escalated the beef between the
two rappers to irreparable heights. All involved remain at odds to this day.
NAS planned to hang JAY-Z figure @ Summer Jam 2002

Nas Plans to Lynch a Fake Jay-Z at Hot 97’s Summer Jam FestivalJay-Z and Nas were embroiled in one of the longest-running, most high-profile rap beefs of all time. After Nas was a no-show for a scheduled recording session for Jay-Z’s 1996 debut album, Reasonable Doubt, Hov sampled the hook from Nas’ “World Is Yours” and used it for his own chorus on the LP’s single “Dead Presidents.” The Queens MC took the sample as a slight and the two proceeded to take subliminal shots at each other for years. Jay-Z dissed Nas by name for the first time while debuting the song “Takeover” live on stage at Hot 97’s Summer Jam in New York in 2001. Nasir clapped back with his respected yet scathing diss track “Ether” and the full-fledged battle was on. With Nas slated to perform at the following year’s Summer Jam Festival, he had big plans to bring the beef to an entirely new level that was nothing short of disturbing. Nas commissioned a special effects artist to create an effigy of Jay-Z, which he intended to hang from a noose during the Summer Jam performance. When Hot 97’s management barred the lynching of the Hov sculpture ahead of the concert, Nas refused to show up at all. The MC claimed he felt “dissed.” Video footage of the Jay-Z effigy and the gallows that were to be used in the mock lynching surfaced years later in 2012, confirming the story was true.Although the perturbing 2002 performance never actually went down, the mere fact that Nas intended to hang the Jay-Z sculpture remains one of the most sinister moments ever when it comes to beef in hip-hop.

Pusha T Exposes Drake’s Secret Son to the WorldDrake inherited his beef with Pusha T due to Push’s issues with Lil Wayne, which date back to 2006. However, over the past 13 years, the smoke between Drizzy and King Push has escalated far beyond anything that transpired between the former Clipse MC and Drake’s Young Money mentor. A few years of subliminal shots in the early 2010s transitioned into more pointed jabs by the middle of the decade with tracks like Pusha T’s “H.G.T.V. Freestyle” and Drake’s “Two Birds, One Stone.” The war on wax reached a fever pitch in May of 2018, when Pusha T responded to the direct disses thrown his way on Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle.” In the form of his overtly ruthless “The Story of Adidon,” Pusha T exposed that Drake had a child and was keeping it a secret. The chess move sent a shockwave throughout the entire rap game. “Since you name-dropped my fiancée,” Pusha T raps before dropping a bomb on Drake. “Let ’em know who you chose as your Beyoncé/Sophie knows better, ask your 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 mother/Cleaned her up for IG, but the stench is on her/A 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢’s involved, it’s deeper than rap/We talkin’ character, let me keep with the facts/You are hiding a child, let that boy come home/Deadbeat muthaf**ka, playin’ border patrol, ooh/Adonis is your son/And he deserves more than an Adidas press run, that’s real/Love that 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢, respect that girl/Forget she’s a porn star, let her be your world.” Even though the contention between Pusha T and Drake is the byproduct of a relatively tame hip-hop beef, the fact that Push brought Aubrey’s 𝚋𝚊𝚋𝚢 boy into the mix proves that this is one of the most diabolical rivalries in recent rap game history.

Tupac Shakur Claims to Have Slept With The Notorious B.I.G.’s Wife Faith EvansThe most infamous and widely publicized beef in hip-hop history is easily all that went down between The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur. The two cultural icons became close personal friends as they were simultaneously rising stars in the early 1990s. That changed drastically in November of 1994, when ’Pac was robbed and shot five times inside New York City’s Quad Studios. Given that The Notorious B.I.G. was working at the studio that night, Tupac blamed Biggie and Bad Boy Entertainment exec Diddy for the shooting. The West Coast MC accused them of setting him up. In early 1995, Biggie Smalls dropped the song “Who Shot Ya?,” which Tupac perceived as B.I.G. and Puffy’s way of taunting the recently shot rapper. Whether the song was aimed at ’Pac or not, he responded with his 1996 diss track, “Hit Em Up,” which so ferocious it has served as the blueprint for igniting rap beef ever since. One of the most volatile aspects of the song is that Tupac boldly claims to have had 𝓈ℯ𝓍 with The Notorious B.I.G.’s then-wife, singer Faith Evans. After going straight in on the track’s intro with “That’s why I f**ked your b***h, you fat muthaf**ka,” Tupac doubles down on the vulgar claim regarding Biggie’s significant other. “You claim to be a player, but I f**ked your wife,” he raps. “We bust on Bad Boys, n***as f**ked for life.” According to Faith, Tupac’s claims were completely fabricated to fuel the beef with her late husband. In an interview on the Marriage or Mirage podcast in 2023, Evans set the record straight by explaining that the famous photo of her and Tupac that fed fire to the flame came from a studio session
she had with ’Pac, which The Notorious B.I.G. approved.

Foolio Raps in Music Video With Photo of Yungeen Ace’s Murdered BrotherThe explosive beef between Florida rappers Yungeen Ace and Foolio extends far beyond diss tracks about who is the better rapper. According to a 2021 article published by First Coast News, the rappers’ issues are rooted in the streets of Jacksonville, Fla., and stem from a violent rivalry between Ace and Foolio’s respective crews, ATK and KTA.While it’s been reported that the two warring factions had been at odds for years, things reached a bloody boiling point in 2017. In May of that year, Julio Foolio’s cousin, 17-year-old Zion Brown, was shot and 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed. Deantrae Thomas, a known associate of Yungeen Ace, was charged with murder shortly after. In June of 2018, Ace was reportedly the target of a retaliatory drive-by shooting that left his own brother, Tre’von Bullard, and two other men dead. Yungeen was the sole survivor despite being shot eight times. Following the shooting, Foolio hit up social media with several posts in celebration of the 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ings. The back-and-forth bloodshed continued throughout the next few years with the result being one of the most morbid wars on wax hip-hop has ever seen. In March of 2021, Yungeen Ace, Spinabenz, Whoppa With Da Choppa and FastMoney Goon dropped the song “Who I Smoke,” which is over a sample of Vanessa Carlton’s 2002 pop hit, “A Thousand Miles.” The track’s chorus finds Yungeen Ace calling out the names of murdered members of his opposition, including Foolio’s close friend, Bibby. “Who I smoke? Bibby,” Ace raps. “Who I Smoke? Teki/Who I Smoke? Lil Nine.” Things took an even deeper turn for the macabre one month later when Foolio responded with his equally disrespectful song “When I See You.” The track begins with audio of a news reporter covering the 2018 shooting death of Yungeen Ace’s brother. In the official music video for “When I See You,” Foolio is seen dancing around a cemetery along with a photo of Ace’s brother and his other murdered friends. He also raps disturbing lyrics aimed at Yungeen Ace.”Went out to eat on his birthday,” Foolio raps in reference to the night Ace was shot eight times and lost his brother. “Four shot, one dead in the worst way/He kept dissin’ on me/Now we smokin’ 23.” In the years since, both Yungeen Ace and Foolio have spoken briefly about the extremely volatile beef, but have remained evasive on the actual details surrounding the situation.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Brawl at New York Fashion Week Event
Inside Edition/YouTube
Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s Shoe-Throwing AltercationFrom the moment Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” catapulted her into hip-hop’s mainstream in 2017, a potential feud between Bardi and Nicki Minaj was widely speculated upon without any concrete evidence. Fuel was added to the fire when the two rappers both hopped on Migos’ “Motorsport” track in October of that year. It was perceived by many that Cardi B and Nicki Minaj were throwing subliminal shots at each other on the song, a notion that Nicki Minaj publicly shut down at the time. Despite Nicki seeming to have cleared the air, Cardi insinuated during an interview with Capital XTRA the next month that Minaj changed her “Motorsport” verse to remove a mention of Bardi’s name in a move that the Bronx spitter did not appreciate. Nicki responded on X, formerly known as Twitter, in April of 2018, with a claim that Atlantic Records asked her to remove Cardi’s name from the verse at Bardi’s request. After a one-on-one conversation at the 2018 Met Gala, it appeared as though any beef between the two rhymers had been squashed. However, all that went out the window when things between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj took a violent turn in September of 2018. At the Harper’s Bazaar Icons party during New York Fashion Week, a heated altercation caught on video found Cardi throwing a shoe in what is believed to have been in Nicki’s direction. While Nicki isn’t seen in the video, Cardi can be heard screaming “Like some s**t about my daughter again, b***h.” Another chaotic video from that night shows Bardi lunging at someone while security guards pull her away. The “like” comment was allegedly in response to Nicki Minaj at some point liking an image on social media that negatively referred to Cardi’s daughter Kulture.Following the incident, Cardi B could be seen leaving the Harper’s Bazaar party with a bruise above her left eye as a result of the melee. It was also reported that a fist full of Bardi’s hair was ripped out, her dress was torn and she left the party with only one shoe. Cardi B addressed the incident on Instagram later that night, explaining that she felt slighted by Nicki after the Barbie Queen allegedly questioned Cardi’s parenting s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s. “I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!!” Cardi wrote in reference to Nicki Minaj. “But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f**kin off!!” In the months that followed the infamous shoe-chucking scene, Cardi B continued to speak about the beef with Nicki Minaj on various platforms. She explained in a 2018 interview with CBS that the rift between her and Nicki is “unnecessary,” but the two have never resolved their differences. Things have even since escalated to involve each of their respective husbands, Offset and Kenneth Petty.

Benzino and The Source Expose Eminem’s Old Racist SongsEminem and Benzino have despised each other for 22 years. When Eminem dropped his album, The Eminem Show, in 2002, he felt as though the chart-topping LP should’ve received the coveted five-mic rating from The Source, the hip-hop magazine Benzino co-owned at the time. The publication rated the project a 4 out of 5 instead. Em then refused to be interviewed by The Source and began throwing shade at the mag. That prompted a back-and-forth on wax with Benzino on tracks like ’Zino’s “Pull Your Skirt Up” and Slim’s “Nail in the Coffin.” In 2003, Benzino took the beef beyond the diss tracks when he paid a reported $15,000 for some recordings of old Eminem songs that the former magazine exec called “The Racist Tapes.” Some of the songs found a young Marshall Mathers rapping racially charged lyrics, specifically aimed at Black women. Benzino and fellow co-owner of The Source, Dave Mays, published the Eminem songs on the magazine’s website in an attempt to expose Slim Shady as a racist trying to “steal” hip-hop. Eminem issued a public statement on the matter, explaining the tapes were recorded following a breakup with an African-American girlfriend. From there, a legal battle found that The Source violated a temporary restraining order by distributing “The Racist Tapes,” requiring the publication to pay Eminem’s legal fees. However, the judge did allow Benzino and The Source to distribute a CD that included 20-second clips of the uncovered Eminem songs. The short snippets containing the lyrics aimed at Black women were released in the February 2004 issue of The Source, which features Eminem on the cover along with the headline “Cleaning Out White America’s Closet.” While many consider Eminem to ultimately be the victor of the seemingly endless beef with Benzino, the public distribution of “The Racist Tapes” was a particularly diabolical strategy.

LL Cool J and Canibus Diss Each Other on a Collab SongThe rivalry between LL Cool J and Canibus first popped off in a unique way compared to other rap beefs. It all started when the two MCs dissed each other on a song designed to be a collaboration. In 1997, LL enlisted then-newcomer Canibus to hop on the track “4,3,2,1,” which also features Method Man, Redman and DMX. The original verse ’Bus laid down for the posse cut opened with, “Yo, L, is that a mic on your arm?/Let me borrow that.” Rather than viewing the reference to his famous crowned microphone tattoo as an homage, LL Cool J felt disrespected. He demanded that Canibus change the “4,3,2,1” lyrics, to which the Bronx native obliged. However, the end result was a few bars in which Canibus made that used clever wordplay to not only reference LL’s microphone king tattoo again but to also throw some diss bars in the process. “I’m the illest n***a alive, watch me prove it,” Canibus raps. “I’ll snatch your crown with ya head still attached to it/Canibus is the type who’ll fight for mics.”As for Uncle L, his entire verse on “4,3,2,1” is aimed directly at Canibus and the tattoo line from his original lyrics.”When young sons fantasize of borrowing flows/Tell little shorty with the big mouth the bank is closed,” LL Cool J responds. “The symbol on my arm is off limits to challengers/You holding rusty swords, I swing the Excalibur.” He later adds to the verse: “Now let’s get back to this mic on my arm/If it ever left my side, it’d transform into a time bomb/You don’t wanna borrow that, you wanna idolize/And you don’t wanna make me mad, n***a, you wanna socialize.”After that epic exchange, LL Cool J and Canibus engaged in a heated battle that included deep, personal diss tracks like ’Bus’ “Second Round K.O.” and LL’s “The Ripper Strikes Back.” The two ended their longtime feud by performing “4,3,2,1” together at a Hot 97 concert in 2014. In May of 2023, LL Cool J took responsibility for starting the beef with Canibus during an interview on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

T.I. Invades Lil Flip’s Neighborhood and a Brawl Breaks OutWhen T.I. began referring to himself as the King of the South in 2003, one of the many rhymers who took heavy exception to the self-proclaimed title was Houston’s Lil’ Flip. After Flip called out Tip and the two traded shots back-and-forth on songs and mixtapes, the beef reached its peak in 2005. During an interview on Houston radio station 97.9 The Box that year, T.I. declared that he intended to march into Lil’ Flip’s neighborhood to shoot a video that would expose Flip as a fraud. When Tip showed up in H-Town’s Cloverland section, where Flip is from, the rappers’ respective crews confronted each other outside a burger spot. The confrontation led to an all-out brawl in the streets. As the story goes according to Houston Press, all involved exchanged blows. However, T.I. and his entourage got the upper hand. The melee reportedly came to an end when a neutral bystander fired a gun into the air. T.I. then stated that he filmed the entire brawl on camera and would release it to the public. However, the footage never surfaced. Lil’ Flip and T.I. squashed the beef later in 2005, following a face-to-face conversation that was moderated by hip-hop record exec J. Prince. Flip spoke about the moment during an interview with Vlad TV in 2015. “What we said was at an undisclosed location and cooler heads prevailed,” Flip told DJ Vlad. “You know, at the end of the day, it was some petty s**t. That’s what grown men do, sit down and figure this s**t out.”

Benny The Butcher Posts XXX Photos of Freddie Gibbs’ Girlfriend Destini FoxThe first sign of smoke between Benny The Butcher and Freddie Gibbs surfaced in March of 2022. After Benny explained in an interview with Spotify that his working relationship with Gibbs “came and went,” Gibbs was offended and told the Black Soprano Family rapper to “keep my name out ya mouth.” Two months later, Gibbs was jumped inside a restaurant in Benny’s hometown of Buffalo, N.Y. Even though Benny The Butcher wasn’t present for the fight, it was widely presumed that his associates were responsible for the beatdown. In August of 2022, Benny posted a video of himself wearing Freddie Gibbs’ chain, which was snatched during the incident, and called Gibbs a “b***h.” Benny then took the beef to the extreme the very next day by dragging Freddie’s then-girlfriend, adult film star Destini Fox, into the fray. In a particularly nasty trolling session on X, formerly known as Twitter, Benny The Butcher shared two photos of Destini. In one, she is licking the top of Freddie Gibbs’ head while in the second, Fox is seen orally pleasuring another man. He captioned the explicit social media post with, “U gotta be careful… She’ll put that tongue anywhere.” While Gibbs appeared to have shrugged off the embarrassing post by explaining that he knew the nature of Destini’s line of work before getting romantically involved, Benny’s act was purely diabolical nonetheless. The two MCs remain at odds even though Gibbs and Fox are no longer an item.In March of 2024, Benny The Butcher continued his onslaught aimed at Freddie by posing in photos with Destini while Benny’s diamond-encrusted BSF pendant is seen draped around Fox’s neck.
