Late NFL player Aaron Hernandez‘s ex-fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins, wasn’t happy about the jokes made about Hernandez during the Tom Brady special The Greatest Roast of All Time on Sunday, May 5. Jenkins, who is raising her and Aaron’s daughter Avielle by herself, revealed the words hurt her very much.

Right after the Miami Grand Prix wrapped up, several notable faces attended Netflix’s roast show, hosted by Kevin Hart. As per the norm, the show picks one celebrity as the centerpiece, and people make fun of him or her. On this occasion, it was seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady.

Yet his former New England Patriots teammate Aaron Hernandez saw several mentions throughout the night from different participants. Shayanna Jenkins was tuned to watch the roast, but when it ended, she was filled with old memories she wanted to leave behind in the past.

Hernandez played three seasons with Brady in New England. However, he was cut from the team after a trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd back in 2013.

However, she failed to garner any support on social media, instead; they pointed out a murder doesn’t deserve any sympathy.

After Hart kicked the night off, one by one, all the participants walked onto the podium and poked fun at Tom Brady. One of them was comedian Nikki Glaser, who first cooked Randy Moss for never winning any Super Bowl rings, bringing up Hernandez.

Tom Brady said

The 46-year-old said a lot of mean things on the night, but perhaps this was a low blow. Even Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman could not believe their ears.

Hernandez took his own life in 2017 in prison, only 5 days after he was acquitted of double murder outside a Boston Night Club in 2012.

After Hernandez, Glaser turned her attention toward the former QB, who famously announced his retirement, and unretired after moving to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She poked fun at Brady’s breakup with actor Bridget Moynahan before marrying the Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen.

You retired, then you came back, and then you retired again. [I get it]; it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend. To be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant; he just thought she was getting fat.
