Dan Quinn is currently one of the most sought-after head coach candidate in the league.

“He might take me with him,” Cowboys LB Micah Parsons opens up about the possibility of Dan Quinn leaving Dallas in the upcoming off-season

The Dallas Cowboys led by their Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott are currently preparing for their playoff game against the Green Bay Packers in the wildcard round. Ahead of the decisive game, the Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons opens up about the possibility of their defensive coordinator Dan Quinn leaving Dallas in the upcoming off-season.

During Thursday’s pre-game press conference, the Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons addressed the media and talked about the possibility of Dan Quinn accepting a head coaching gig with another team. Parsons said that he understands it’s just the nature of the business.

It’s the nature of the business. It could possibly be my last ride with Q. And if it is, we’re gonna make sure it’s a damn good one.

Micah Parsons told the reporters

Furthermore, the Cowboys’ 2-time All-Pro linebacker also joked that Quinn might want to take him alongside too if he ends up leaving Dallas in the off-season.

Dan is my guy. And if he does leave, it’s always love. He might take me with him, you never know.

Parsons said

Dan Quinn has been one of the most sought-after head coach candidates for the last couple of seasons. In the last two years, Quinn has turned down multiple head coach offers, claiming he still has unfinished business in Dallas. Earlier this year, the 53-year-old defensive coordinator stated that he is completely focused on helping the Cowboys win the Super Bowl this season.

If the Cowboys ended up winning the championship ring this season, Quinn might move on from Dallas and he would have multiple offers from other teams. Currently, there are 8 NFL teams that have head coach vacancies and most of them would love to rope in Quinn to their franchise.

I think he does a great job finding ways for you to love the game, finding ways to go around the game. It doesn't always have to be hard-nosed, 'I'm the coach.' I think it's more of a friendship

Parsons told reporters

The 24-year-old linebacker claimed that Quinn treats him like a friend instead of just a player and has always been there for him during his dire times.

Nonetheless, Parsons got at least one more game to play under Quinn and he is hoping to make it four games to end the season with a championship ring to their name.
