Tom Brady is not a fan of Dan Campbell’s aggressive coaching.
However, not everyone seems to fall under the same thought. There are some who aren’t a fan of Campbell’s version of attacking football. Some are suggesting that Campbell should have been more cautious against the Niners in the Championship game. Among these, Tom Brady is one who held Campbell responsible for the loss against the 49ers.
Brady who will be the NFL’s lead analyst from the next season onward, spoke about Campbell’s attacking football on Let’s Go Podcast. He did not hesitate to say that it was Campbell’s attacking football that cost the interest of the Lions.
Brady stated:
They’ve been aggressive all year. You know obviously, when you’re aggressive and it doesn’t work, it comes back to bite you. It came back to bite them yesterday. Again, I would’ve taken the points.Tom Brady said
The head coach who enjoyed appreciation throughout the season, couldn’t control his tears after the game against the Niners. They were inches away from victory but failed to seal the game and eventually the Conference Championship.
Tom Brady believes that the Lions did not create enough pressure on the Niners
The Detroit Lions went to the dressing room with a terrific 24-7 lead in the halftime. The visiting fans were cheering as they thought that had made it to the Super Bowl and won the Conference Championship. Little did they have any idea that the Niners would have a clutch drive and the third quarter would tilt things in their favor.
Brady said that the Lions did not create enough pressure needed to be created. They were leading by a huge margin and the moment required tremendous pressurization on the Niners.

Here is what he had to say on the same:
I’ve been in those situations. I look at them and say, OK, this is the opportunity to continue to keep the pressure on the 49ers to make great plays and you’re in a great position.Tom Brady added
Brady, here, provided a rather less harsh version of his analyst self. He would have ample opportunities to support or criticize NFL big names from the next year onwards.
