The star of American hip-hop music was arrested after blurting out a curse in front of a large audience during a performance in the Caribbean island nation of Saint Kitts, according to CNN.
According to information from the American press, rapper 50 Cent cursed in front of more than 40,000 viewers of this beautiful island nation. The police came to arrest him as soon as the night of the performance ended because swearing while performing or in public is a violation of the law here.
50 Cent’s representative said that according to the arrangements of the night’s organizers, the male singer would perform the hit song PIMP with the organizers’ DJ set, but they did not use 50 Cent’s correct disc. Because he was so angry, the 40-year-old artist blurted out loud curses straight into the microphone.
On June 27, the male singer went to court to pay the fine and immediately returned to the US.
Although things went wrong, 50 Cent said the show was a success. He promised to return to this wonderful island in the near future and of course would leave his curse words “at home”.
It is not uncommon for artists to be arrested for using inappropriate words on stage in Caribbean countries. In 2003, a rapper named DMX was also arrested by the police for similar behavior and the fine here was only about 400 USD.
50 Cent is known as one of the richest hip-hop artists in America, possessing a huge fortune that once reached several hundred million dollars thanks to business and album sales. However, over the past few years, bad luck has continuously followed the male singer, causing him to file for bankruptcy in July last year.
The reason for this situation is said to be because of 50 Cent’s excessive spending by spending money on a series of supercars and being involved in lawsuits that caused him to lose millions of dollars in compensation fees.
