Russell Wilson vs Sean Payton is getting more intensified with each day passing.
The Russell Wilson issue is getting a lot of attention from the NFL world. Analysts and former players seem to have disposed of Sean Payton over benching the star quarterback, Russell Wilson. The latest to join the bandwagon is Ryan Clark. In one of the episodes of the podcasting show Get Up, Clark compared Sean Payton to a thug.
The attitude of the HC has not been welcomed by a lot of people since the beginning of the season. A lot of them found the HC very bossy. Ryan Clark might take a step ahead to compare him with a thug, but the bar of inconvenience was rising high among a lot of others. Clark’s expression had taken it to a new level.
Let’s be honest. Sean Payton has behaved as a thug since he became the coach of the Denver Broncos. Immediately when he gets in the building, he starts to undercut Russell Wilson personally and professionally from his first press conference on.Clark Said
Sean Payton was appointed to overturn the fate that the Broncos suffered last season. In his first season as Broncos head coach, Payton had a so-so time.
Of course, the Broncos have had better numbers this season, but Payton has failed to guarantee a winning season till now. There is no guarantee that he can provide the Broncos with a winning season.
Payton has had a cat and mind play with Wilson
From the very beginning of the season, Sean Payton had a cat-and-mouse play with Russell Wilson. It started in the beginning when Payton openly criticized Wilson for the latter’s late play call. A few days back, he screened at the QB on the sidelines.
From the beginning, he walked into this building and had a point to prove when it came to Russell Wilson. You’re going to be just like everybody else. I’m going to treat you just like I treat everyone else on the team.Hinting at those things, Clark said
He also noted that things do not go well with franchise quarterbacks.

This might be Wilson’s last at the Broncos. With Payton continuing for more years, it does not seem that Wilson will be interested in being a part of this Broncos team.
