Rodney Harrison was inducted to the Patriots Hall of Fame in 2019 but awaits the league honor.

Tom Brady admits Rodney Harrison deserves to be in the ‘Hall of Fame’, claims he doesn’t get much recognition

Tom Brady isn’t shy about expressing controversial opinions on camera. He recently criticized modern athletes for being egoistic and self-centered. Now, he’s advocating for former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison to be inducted into the Hall of Fame for his contributions to the team.

To me, [he’s] one of the greatest football players the league has ever seen and doesn’t get the recognition--He should be in the Hall of Fame. He was as good a competitor, as a defensive player -- smart, tough, physical, fucking mean out there on the field. I loved it, and I loved playing with him.

The former safety had an electrifying career with two Pro Bowls and one All-Pro selection. In addition, he also won two Super Bowls with his side. However, his luck never favored him when it came to being inducted into the Hall of Fame list.

Harrison reached the semifinals of the Hall of Fame selection round twice and advanced to the finals in 2024, but he was never inducted. Therefore, his aspiration of being inducted into the Hall of Fame remains unfulfilled. It remains to be seen whether the former Patriots safety will have better luck in the future.

Tom Brady ready to start the second innings in the upcoming season

After dominating the field for many years, Tom Brady is now poised to embark on a new chapter—not as a player, but as a sports analyst. The NFL will see him take on a role as an analyst, wielding a microphone.

The former quarterback has signed a contract with Fox Sports reportedly worth $375 million over ten years, equating to an annual salary of $37.5 million. Brady is set to become one of the greatest not only on the football field but also off it, as an analyst.

As the highest-paid sports commentator ever, Brady will join Kevin Burkhardt in calling Fox’s marquee game each week. While many anticipate the GOAT’s transition to the broadcast booth, others have raised concerns. Critics question Brady’s lack of experience, particularly his replacing of Greg Olsen, Fox’s previous top color commentator. Additionally, doubts linger about whether Brady will fulfill his extensive contract.
