Why Suge Knight is Terrified of 50 Cent
Suge Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records, is one of the most notorious figures in hip-hop history. He was involved in the infamous East Coast-West Coast feud that resulted in the deaths of Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., and he has been accused of numerous crimes, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, extortion and assault.
But there is one rapper who seems to have no fear of Suge Knight: 50 Cent. The G-Unit mogul has been trolling and mocking Suge Knight for years, both online and offline, and he shows no signs of stopping.
Here are some of the reasons why Suge Knight is terrified of 50 Cent:
– 50 Cent claims Suge Knight wanted to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Dr Dre in the 1990s. In a 2015 interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood, 50 Cent revealed that Suge Knight tried to prevent Dr Dre from leaving Death Row Records and signing Eminem and 50 Cent to his Aftermath label. 50 Cent said that Suge Knight wanted to 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁 Dr Dre and keep Tupac Shakur on Death Row, but he failed because Tupac had a clause in his contract that allowed him to leave if Suge Knight went to jail.
– 50 Cent is planning to produce a TV series about Suge Knight’s life. According to TMZ, 50 Cent and Suge Knight’s brother, Brian Brown, are collaborating on a TV series that will tell Suge Knight’s story from his rise to fame to his downfall. The series is inspired by 50 Cent’s hit STARZ series BMF, which depicts the lives of two brothers who ran a drug empire in Detroit. It is unclear how Suge Knight feels about this project, but it is likely that he is not happy about 50 Cent profiting from his misfortune.
– 50 Cent offers to buy Revolt after Diddy steps down as chairman. In a recent Instagram post, 50 Cent announced that he was interested in buying Revolt, the music cable network founded by Diddy. This came after Diddy stepped down as chairman of Revolt and appointed his son Christian Combs as the new CEO. 50 Cent wrote: “I heard Diddy stepped down as chairman at Revolt. I’m interested in buying it if they sell it cheap.” This was a clear jab at Suge Knight, who famously dissed Diddy at the 1995 Source Awards by saying: “Any artist out there who want to be an artist and stay a star, and don’t have to worry about the executive producer trying to be all in the videos, all on the records, dancing… come to Death Row!”
– Eminem was ready to fight Suge Knight at 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” video shoot. According to former G-Unit artist Bang ’Em Smurf, Eminem was prepared to confront Suge Knight when he showed up uninvited at 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” video shoot in 2003. Smurf said that Eminem was wearing a bulletproof vest and had security guards around him, but he was not afraid of Suge Knight. Smurf said: “Eminem was ready for whatever. He wasn’t running from nothing.”
These are just some of the examples of how 50 Cent has been taunting and challenging Suge Knight over the years. Suge Knight is currently serving a 28-year prison sentence for 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ing Terry Carter and injuring Cle “Bone” Sloan in a hit-and-run incident in 2015. He has also been diagnosed with blood clots and diabetes, and he has lost most of his fortune and influence in the music industry.
Meanwhile, 50 Cent is still one of the most successful and influential rappers and entrepreneurs in the world. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide, won numerous awards, starred in movies and TV shows, launched his own businesses and brands, and amassed a net worth of over $300 million.
It is clear that 50 Cent has the upper hand in this rivalry, and he knows it. That’s why Suge Knight is terrified of him.
