It seems Bayless has lost all love for Prescott post the recent playoffs game.

Skip Bayless takes a dig at Dak Prescott by claiming Shedeur Sanders right now is better than the Cowboys QB

Skip Bayless is tired of Dak Prescott. The veteran analyst is a self-proclaimed No. 1 fan of the Dallas Cowboys and never shies away from sharing his skewed take on the team and its QB. However, since the recent postseason defeat, Bayless is continuously going off at the Dallas’ franchise QB.

This time, the veteran analyst said something controversial again. In the recent episode of Undisputed, the analyst claimed that Shedeur Sanders, the son of Deion Sanders, is a better QB than Dak Prescott.

I’ll go on record to say that Shedeur is right now better than Dak Prescott--As we speak, as he stands, wherever he is in Boulder, Colorado, he’s better than Dak Prescott.

Bayless said

The topic of Shedeur and his possible draft team in 2025 was the talk of this segment. After Deion Sanders recently declared that he would be keeping his sons away from ‘certain teams’, the football world is brainstorming which teams Prime is hinting at. However, Bayless’ comments surely took the whole conversation in another direction with the Prescott comparison.

Prescott had his best regular season last year. However, it was not enough to convince Bayless as the Cowboys’ No.4 failed to provide momentum in the playoffs.

Jerry Jones is not losing hope in Dak Prescott yet

Amid the poor postseason run on the gridiron, Jerry Jones, the veteran owner of the Cowboys, is not losing any hope with his signal caller. Prescott has been with the Cowboys since 2016 and the furthest he has reached with the team is the Divisional round. The QB has only registered two postseason wins in his eight years tenure.

In the annual league meeting of the NFL happened in Orlando this Sunday, Jones reiterated his confidence with Prescott and the team.

I think there are a handful or more of quarterbacks playing who haven’t won a Super Bowl that will win a Super Bowl. I think Dak is one of them. I’m firm there. He’s one of the ones who can.’

Jones said

The Cowboys No.4 will have a special responsibility, considering his incoming contract extension. High turnovers and interception rates have been his major enemy over the years. And if Super Bowl is the aim for him, this old habit needs some beating.

Last year, it was thought that he’ll get over it considering his performance in the regular season. However, that did not happen, and the Cowboys suffered an early exit from the postseason. His performance against the Green Bay Packers was halted by three major interceptions.
