FORMER NBA champion Glen “Big Baby” Davis revealed a prediction about his physique after being sentenced to prison.

The 38-year-old Davis was sentenced by a federal judge on Thursday to 40 months in prison for involvement in a scheme to defraud the NBA’s health care benefits plan.

Davis went live on Instagram as the nine-year NBA veteran was seen outside of a New York courthouse after the verdict.

During the live video, the 6-foot-9, 289-pound Davis predicted his future body transformation, saying, “That’s the only way you can stop me from eating hamburgers is to put me in jail.”

Davis was also sentenced to three years’ supervised release.

He was convicted in November of 2023 for filing false medical claims with the NBA Players’ Health and Benefit Welfare Plan.

Davis is one of 20 people, including former NBA stars Terrence Williams and Keyon Doolings, to be sentenced in the case.

The former Boston Celtics big man was indicted in the case back in October of 2021.

In addition to his prison sentence, Davis was ordered to pay $80,000 in restitution.

He’ll have to attend a financial management class and mandatory drug treatment to receive a supervised release.

Other than Williams, the supposed ringleader of the scheme, no person received more prison time than Davis.

During his rookie season in 2008, Davis won the NBA championship with the Boston Celtics.

He averaged 4.5 points per game during that campaign.

Davis would play for the Celtics for four more seasons and was a contributor to the team’s playoff runs.

In 2011, Boston traded Davis to the Orlando Magic.

Davis recorded a career-high 15.1 points per game in the second season with Orlando.

In 2014, Davis signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.

That would be his final destination in the NBA where he played for one-and-a-half seasons.

Davis finished with 4,111 points, 2,236 rebounds, and 457 assists in his career.
