America’s first-ever One Piece Cafe, based in Las Vegas, stuns in official images and a special new video ahead of its grand opening this May.
America’s first-ever official One Piece-themed café, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, has revealed its official images plus a special new video, released ahead of its grand opening today.
Via a press release, the One Piece café begins celebrating its grand opening at 11 a.m. on May 11, 2024. The festivities include special character appearances from Luffy and Zoro from 11 to 2 p.m. and multiple special giveaways. Fans can head over to 5600 Spring Mountain Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89146 between the hours of 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. for the café and get more information from its Instagram (@onepiececafeofficial), website and phone number: 702-405-7010. Readers can check out a massive new drop of official One Piece Café images and a video below.
The images follow fan photos from last week’s soft launch, showing off the One Piece-themed food and merch options. The press release also spotlights the Stretchy Mochi Cookies, which come in flavors of mango, strawberry, ube, and matcha, and the Gum-Gum Fruit Mousse Bomb, “a vanilla sponge cake enrobed in a decadent white chocolate shell and adorned with fresh fruit — naturally inspired by the mythical devil fruit that granted Luffy his extraordinary abilities.”
International Anime Food and Drink Collaborations Continue With Dragon Ball & Naruto
As popular Japanese IP continues its drive into the mainstream, food and anime tie-ins in America and overseas are set to continue. Dragon Ball announced a partnership with Kura Sushi for a nationwide experience, and Oasis just rolled out its drink collaboration with Naruto. The One Piece Café is a major undertaking adding to that legacy, brought to fans by the same team behind the Hello Kitty Cafe and the Sorry Not Sorry Creamery, with their Las Vegas locations rated 4.4 and 4.8, respectively.
Crunchyroll streams One Piece, describing the series: “Monkey. D. Luffy refuses to let anyone or anything stand in the way of his quest to become the king of all pirates. With a course charted for the treacherous waters of the Grand Line and beyond, this is one captain who’ll never give up until he’s claimed the greatest treasure on Earth: the Legendary One Piece!”
