CBS Sports pundit Charlie Davies has said one Inter Miami youngster is now keeping up with Lionel Messi in training.
The Argentine international has been a revelation in Florida since arriving last year, with Messi guiding Inter Miami to the top of the MLS Supporters Shield standings and doing so with some fantastic performances.
With Inter Miami currently on a five-game winning run, the Herons are picking up important points before the Copa America break that will see Messi and a number of other key players depart for the month for the summer tournament.
And one youngster has really caught Davies‘ eye in recent weeks.

Benjamin Cremaschi praised for raising his level at Inter Miami with Messi
Speaking on Morning Footy, the former USA international highlighted how much Benjamin Cremaschi has raised his levels in Inter Miami after the arrival of Messi, with the 19-year-old now a key player for Tata Martino.
Having just returned to full fitness, Cremaschi has been in fine form this year having already scored twice in MLS this season, including the winner on Saturday against CF Montreal, and Davies thinks training with Messi has elevated the midfielder’s game.
“Messi wants to play small side and compete every single day, 4v4, 5v5, there’s teams, we’re going to play it that way and play, and I think a lot is asked of you as a youngster and to bring your A-game every single day and not disappoint these idols and legends in training, as well as Tata Martino, and he’s excelled, I think his ceiling is really high.”

Cremaschi will want to keep pushing himself to a higher level
Inter Miami as a whole have improved greatly with Messi’s arrival, yet Cremaschi’s development has arguably been the most apparent over the last 11 months.
The teenager has become a fan favorite at Chase Stadium and looks set for a big future in soccer on both a club level and international level with the United States.
And with Cremaschi back to full fitness, the 19-year-old will want to keep pushing himself and to take his game to new heights whilst learning everything he can playing alongside Messi.
