Much has been made about whether Caitlin Clark is a good teammate.

It appears that her teammates on the Indiana Fever are fond of her; if only because she dishes them out excellent passes, helped them (and the rest of the WNBA) secure chartered flights to and from games, and perhaps picks up a dinner tab or two.

But it appears that Clark might not have always been so easy to play with.

An excerpt from a recent story about Clark’s time as an Iowa Hawkeye went viral on social media Tuesday, which raised some eyebrows about her past behavior.

The article excerpt came from a March article by ESPN’s Wright Thompson, who wrote, “Caitlin’s teammates meanwhile discovered her talent came with impatience and anger. She blew up a lot at practice. A lot of throwing her hands up in the air, stomping off the court and simply refusing to pass the ball to an open teammate if she didn’t believe they’d deliver.”

“I had expectations of them and they weren’t meeting them,” Clark added.

Thankfully, Clark’s winning ways seem to have overshadowed what once seemed to be a concerning attitude while at Iowa.
