A CCTV clip allegedly showing Diddy attacking his former partner Cassie Ventura in 2016 shocked the world upon its release, leading to the resurfacing of a video where Kanye West, now known as Ye, criticizes the rapper.

In a now-deleted segment from the Drink Champs podcast, Ye harshly criticized his music rival, Diddy.

The footage, originally from October 2022, recently reappeared online, drawing significant attention on social media.

In the clip, Ye discusses a supposed deal that certain celebrities made to avoid prison, allegedly labeling Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, as a “fed.”

Ye claimed these celebrities made deals with law enforcement to stay out of jail by blackmailing others, referring to Diddy by his former nickname, Puff Daddy.

Ye said, “The reason why you gotta talk is because you did a deal, you f*****g fed!”

“That’s why you’ve gotta come at me,” Ye continued, “because part of the deal for you to be able to do all that and get out of jail is that you promised that you are gonna go pull my card.”

The complete interview was pulled shortly after airing due to criticism directed at Ye for making anti-Semitic remarks and insensitive comments about George Floyd’s death.

Ye had reportedly sent Diddy a message with the accusation before, with leaked text messages between them surfacing. Sharing the alleged texts, one Twitter user commented: “Wow, people knew about Diddy a long time ago but never said anything except Kanye.”

Recently, Diddy apologized for his actions towards Cassie after CCTV footage appeared to depict him brutally beating her. The 54-year-old took to his Instagram page on Sunday, stating in a video: “I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses.”

However, Cassie’s lawyer, Meredith Firetog, criticized Comb’s remarks, saying, “Combs’ most recent statement is more about himself than the many people he has hurt. When Cassie and multiple other women came forward, he denied everything and suggested that his victims were looking for a payday.”
