Lil Nas X is ‘in treatment’ as he faces 5 years in jail for ‘assaulting cops’ who found him ‘strolling naked’ around LA
TROUBLED rapper Lil Nas X has checked into a treatment facility following his concerning arrest where he was found roaming the streets of Los Angeles in his underwear.
The 26-year-old rapper, born Montero Hill, is currently at an undisclosed facility outside of California seeking treatment for his well-being, it was revealed in a court hearing on Monday.

Lil Nas X was arrested on August 21 after concerning video showed him wandering the streets of Studio City, Los Angeles, partially naked, wearing only cowboy boots and his underwear.
When Los Angeles police officers tried to detain Lil Nas X, he allegedly charged at the cops and assaulted them.
Additional video posted online showed Lil Nas X being completely naked when authorities arrested him.
“We’re not going to get specific about where he is,” Judge Shellie Samuels said during Monday’s hearing, which the rapper did not attend.
“It’s private, nobody needs to know where he is, but he is in treatment.”
Lil Nas X was hit with four felony charges, including battery with injury to a police officer and resisting arrest. He has pleaded not guilty.
Drew Findling, the rapper’s attorney, confirmed the status of his client and said his family is seeking the best for his well-being.
“Obviously, you heard the treatment word. We’re doing what is best for Montero from a personal standpoint and a professional standpoint, but most importantly, for his well-being,” Findling told reporters after the hearing.
“He is surrounded by an amazing family, an amazing team of people that care about him and love him and we’re just addressing those issues, it’s as simple as that.
“This is a bump that he’s going to get over. On behalf of him, his family is making sure he addresses all those issues right now.”

Judge Samuels, who set the rapper’s bail at $75,000, modified Lil Nas X’s release conditions so that he can remain out of state and allow him to continue seeking treatment.
On the morning of his arrest, authorities initially took Lil Nas X to a hospital for a possible overdose before booking him on felony charges.
Days after his arrest, the Old Town Road rapper assured his fans that he would be okay.
“Your girl is going to be okay,” he said in a video posted on Instagram.
“Okay? She’s going to be alright.”
Lil Nas X appeared to downplay the severity of the incident, adding, “That was f**king terrifying. That was terrifying,” as he chuckled in the video.
“That was terrifying last four days. But your girl is gonna be alright.”
In April, Lil Nas X again sparked health concerns when he posted a video on Instagram in a hospital bed, claiming he had lost control of the right side of his face.
“It’s like, what the f**k, I can’t even laugh right, bro,” the rapper said in the video as he struggled to do a full smile.
“What the f**k. Oh my God.”
