Camille Winbush Reacts To Losing Bernie Mac And Career After ‘Bernie Mac Show’: “Wanted To Be Free”

I had a conversation with with Jeremy Suarez and Jeremy went viral because he kind of went on and lives a normal life he end up working at a cell phone a cell phone shop and his coworker filmed him and kind of like yo I got Jordan from Bernie Max show work with me did you catch that video when it first went viral yeah I remember that yeah how did you react to that just seeing that put out there on Jeremy um I think I mean I’m proud of him for doing what he needs to do to you know survive in today’s economy and
um I I think it’s unfortunate that no matter what you do somebody will have something to say um whether is oh he’s working a a normal 9 to5 how sad acting didn’t work out or you know everybody’s going to have an opinion right um but I respect him for looking past that and not feeling like Oh I’m a failure because I’m not you know where people think I should be um so yeah it’s I wish people could put their themselves in other people’s shoes before they speak on something I think that you nailed it on the head I think that’s just the dynamic
of it all is that people aren’t doing that they’re putting themselves at least from how they see it from their lens I think really I just want to live authentically and be proud of the decisions I’ve made for me um I’m not sure where my Sunset will take me um but I want it I want to take that Journey because I want to and not because somebody thinks I should or somebody told me to um whether that be in acting or behind the camera or something totally different um publicly or not I just want to be proud of myself and my
decisions does does kind of do you ever see yourself work like a a a regular like 9 to5 like what made you decide to be open to you know working a 9 to5 or or even just doing an everyday non-industry job well I have always been aware that acting is a Gamble and is not a guaranteed forever career um and I’ve always had other interests outside of that um I’ve worked N9 to five jobs my family had an ice cream shop and I was in there on weekends after working on set of The Bernie Mac Show scooping ice cream and baking cookies so I’m not afraid of
different types of work um I taught gymnastics I I was going to school actually for interior design right before the pandemic happened um and and that’s always been an interest of mine um I love event planning so I have other things that I’m interested that I could take on um working for someone else outside of acting is not for me um so anything that I do it will be mine all right well I hope you enjoyed this teaser you can watch the full interview right now at hypers club.
