BOMBSHELL evidence, including a plan to “take out” conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has been linked to suspect Tyler Robinson.

DNA found on the towel wrapped around the suspected murder weapon, along with a screwdriver left at the sniper’s nest, matched Robinson, FBI Director Kash Patel said on Fox News on Monday.

Robinson, 22, was taken into custody on Thursday in connection with Kirk’s assassination at Utah Valley University on September 10.

“I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA from the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody,” Patel said.

The high-powered hunting rifle was discovered in a wooded area near where Robinson allegedly took aim and fatally shot Kirk in the neck.

Patel said the FBI also found evidence of a chilling note Robinson allegedly wrote before the shooting.

“He claimed that he had an opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do it because of his hatred for what Charlie stood for,” Patel said.

The note was kept in the home where Robinson and his transgender partner lived, but has since been destroyed, the FBI director said.

However, Patel said the note was recovered with “forensic evidence” and that investigators “confirmed what that note says because of our aggressive interview posture at the FBI.”

Patel said that Robinson’s family has spoken about the suspect’s political ideology in the weeks before the shooting.

“His family has collectively told investigators that he subscribed to left-wing ideology,” Patel said.

Ammunition found with the suspected rifle was also reportedly engraved with antifascist writings.

Robinson’s motive remains unclear.

Patel said, “My job as FBI director is not to speak to motive, it’s to speak to facts.”

Discord clarified in a statement that they found no evidence of Robinson promoting violence or planning Kirk’s assassination on the platform.

The twisted banter started when a Discord user shared surveillance pictures released by the FBI and pointed out Robinson’s resemblance, according to the messages obtained by the New York Times.

The user shared the images and tagged Robinson’s username, writing “wya,” which means “where you at,” and a skull emoji.

Robinson wrote back, “My doppelganger’s trying to get me in trouble.”

Another Discord user joked in the group chat on Thursday afternoon, “Tyler killed Charlie!!!!”

Hours later, Robinson was arrested after his dad urged him to turn himself in, eventually leading to their family friend calling the cops.

It took investigators over two days to find the alleged assassin after Kirk was shot and killed in front of a horrified audience while speaking at the university in Orem, Utah.

The conservative firebrand was hosting a student debate event at UVU in the first stop on the tour organized by Turning Point USA, Kirk’s nonprofit organization, which he founded when he was 18.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Erika, and their two young children.

Following his death, President Donald Trump posthumously awarded Kirk the Medal of Freedom and called for Robinson to face the death penalty.

Robinson will appear in court for the first time on Tuesday.
